Pervez Musharraf in top ten dictators list

The 10 worst dictators of the world have now been paraded in a magazine, pun definitely intended. The link does not work currently. It will, in a week from now. The list has representation from Sudan, North Korea, Burma, China, Saudi Arabia, Libya, Pakistan, Turkmenistan, Zimbabwe and Equatorial Guinea.

Lowest on the US State Department's wishlist is for Pervez to give up his post. The US hopes for the 2007 elections being free and fair. Just as the referendum was, eh?

The toothless Commonwealth club is disappointed over Musharraf's decision to continue as President and Army Chief and wants him to relinquish one of the two posts by 2007. Its earlier deadline was 2004 and it supported him if he got Parliament to rubber-stamp his dual role. Of course he did, technically. So do you think he will quit?
