Everyone envies our position - Bill Gates

In part two (Here is part 1) of his chat with BBC's Click Online, Bill Gates talks about how important security is. However he also says "With the computing experience you don't achieve full potential if you're having to worry about something like security. So that's our commitment to people. We'll make sure that's not holding people back in terms of getting these great new experiences."

Nice one Bill. Effectively you're telling us we'll continue to keep getting great products with a superb user experience, but we shouldnt be bothered by piddly issues such as security.

He mentions hundreds of millions of people connecting to the Microsoft SP2 servers to download the latest pack. I find that number a little odd. 100 million people is 1/60th the world's population. I doubt if there're that many computers in the world. Does anyone want to hazard a guess?
