1984 riots:Congress Party::AQ Khan::Pakistan Government
Even as Sikhs were being massacred left, right and centre in Punjab, Delhi, Haryana and other parts of north India in 1984 following Indira Gandhi's assassination by her Sikh bodyguards, the newly elected/nominated Prime Minister Rajiv Gandhi said, "When a big tree falls, the earth is bound to shake." That is about the most insensitive comment you expect from someone who is expected to protect the nation.
