PoliticsHaren Pandya, the former Gujarat minister, who dared to raise a voice of dissent against Narendra Modi, was shot dead by unidentified assailants yesterday at Ahmedabad. In yet another clean chit issued to the Modi government, the deputy PM LK Advani said that intelligence points to it being a terrorist act and that it had nothing to do with political vendetta etc. Which type of terrorists want to kill someone who objected to the way the Narendra Modi government handled the riot victims? Muslim terrorists? Highly unlikely! Pandya would have been on 'their' side actually. How about Hindu terrorists? The VHP-RSS types? I think that's possible. I'd really not rule out Modi's role in the issue!! Labels: gujarat violence 2002, narendra modi
