    What would Rama have done?

Is it fair to assume that in a 'Rama-rajya', the economic and ecological impact of a project would be the sole criteria to determine if the project was feasible?

If so, the government should really only present data on the potential impact on the ecology of the area, regardless of whether it is Adam's bridge or Rama sethu. That, and the economic benefits of building the canal, are the only aspects I care about.

If not, we are living in a 'Rama-rajya'.
