Pramod Mahajan shot at

Pramod Mahajan, one of the BJP's 'Gen Next' leaders, was shot a short while ago, apparently in the chest and stomach. You can track the story on Yahoo! News and Google News.

Some sites say he is out of danger, some report him as being critical. I suppose a clearer picture will emerge in the next few hours.

The assailant is reported to have been his brother and the attack apparently happened because of a property dispute.

hoodi - You can add Rajiv Gandhi to the list too. He was perhaps younger than just about all the other "young" politicians who died. How about Haren Pandya (Gujarat)? I can't see any conspiracy in this though :)
