What freedom of choice means for a 13 year old pregnant girl

I normally avoid going online during weekends, so that I can spend the maximum possible time with Krithi & Jaagruthi. Thats why it is only today that I read the news that a 13 year old girl who is pregnant, and a resident of Florida, cannot have an abortion since she was 'too young and immature to make an informed medical decision'.

So this 13 year old girl is old and mature enough to have a baby. This 13 year old will be having the baby obviously against her wishes. It is obviously a moot point that the 13 year old has made a mistake in the first place by becoming pregnant, evidently not a very well informed medical decision on her (& her partner's) part.

But hasn't the judiciary and the political establishment ensured that the point is totally missed? I really don't expect her motherhood to be enjoyable, do you? What's the guarantee that she will not be traumatized at what is in store for her over the next few months?
