    Cricket news:

ICC Champions Trophy: Kenya pick Maurice Odumbe in spite of the allegations. No real surprises in the Kiwi squad. Lara not named captain of the WI squad. Could it be Sarwan?

Videocon Series: The winner of the cup gets a cool $25,000. A chat with Dinesh Karthik about what playing for India means to him.

Sri Lanka v South Africa: Sri Lankan cricket is bound to suffer and not improve if they keep preparing pitches like at Galle. Sri Lanka end day 1 in a good position but Murali could be out of the game for a while.

Australia: The divergence of opinions on whether the move away from the SCG is good or not, continues among Aussie cricketers.

England: Adam Hollioake, now almost completely retired from competitive cricket, pursues his goal of raising funds for the Ben Hollioake foundation.

India: An interview with Sourav Ganguly. Jagmohan Dalmiya proposes that the spin quartet should receive the CK Nayudu award.

Misc: Yet another World XI, but who do they play against?
