Over the last month, I've been travelling repeatedly on Bannerghatta road, twice a week, to and fro, on the way to IIM-B where I'm doing a course. I've definitely reached the conclusion that Bangalore, and Bannerghatta road in particular, totally rocks. This isn't "rocks" in the "Bannerghatta road is wonderful" sense. I am fairly sure that before Apollo 11 took off on its voyage to the moon exactly 35 years ago, the astronauts learnt to navigate the surface of the moon by driving/riding on at Bannerghatta road. Even assuming that Bannerghatta road wasnt so glorious 35 years ago, I think NASA (or indeed any other organizations - private parties welcome too!) would do well to outsource the lunar landscape orientation class and send the prospective astronauts to Bannerghatta road henceforth.
