    Cricket news:

Interview - Tendulkar talks about his cricket, life after cricket, opponents and winning. Ajit Agarkar, on the verge of playing for Middlesex along with Glenn McGrath, talks about his disappointment at being left out for the Asia Cup as well as defends himself from critics of his batting.

Asia Cup - Inzamam confident of defending Asia Cup trophy.

Super Series - Even as Wisden CricInfo's choices attract a lot of criticism, Mark Nicholas loses his marbles and salivates at the possibility of Murali and Warne facing off with the world record still at stake: an impossibility since the game wont be a test match anyway!

Australia v Sri Lanka - Glenn McGrath's antics after being denied Jayasuriya's wicket cost him 25% of his match fee. Shane Warne's bid to go past Murali didnt quite work out, but he did draw level with Murali on 527 wickets. Channel 9 had switched to a game show just before Warne took #527.

World Cup - Barbados will host the 2007 World Cup final.

Misc - For how much longer will Kiwi columnists continue to lie to the readers that New Zealand lacks stars? In 1976 at The Oval, Viv Richards came close to beating Sobers' 365 and never looked like getting out. Some of the protagonists of that game relive the moments.
