Everyone was funding the Congress!
First, there were revelations in The Times that the Komitet Gosudarstvennoy Bezopasnosti, the primary Soviet Union security agency, spent huge sums of money in trying to influence India's politicians in the Congress(I) and the CPI. Perhaps this was similar to the $20 million spent by Enron to educate Indians about the benefits of its power projects in India. Rambled @ 12:40 PM
