Cricket news:
Pakistan is mulling cancelling a tour by Zimbabwe scheduled for October. Abhijit Kale, who was pronounced guilty by the self-styled lawyers in the BCCI, still thinks he can play for India. Andy Blignaut, the talented Zimbabwe all-rounder, joins some of his other colleagues in Australia after being offered a contract by Tasmania. The England and New Zealand teams and the umpires became so hungry waiting for the rain to disappear that lunch was called shortly after the toss. The ICC needs to realize that decisions like these drive away spectators. The Botham v Imran case of the mid 1990s could be revived.
