    Cricket news:
England gets blown away by James Franklin in yesterday's NatWest Series encounter against New Zealand. Two consecutive low totals prompts panic among the media community. England's day is found to get worse when it is discovered that a thief made away with money, credit cards and brains from the dressing room. Ramnaresh Sarwan talks about his career so far and the future. John Arlott on Syd Barnes, rated among the best of all-time. Jim Laker knew 25 years ago that one-day cricket would get boring. The ICC announces its own awards amidst good reception from the players. Why do the Aussie selectors pick Elliott when Clarke & Love are waiting in the wings? Dravid and Ganguly are awarded the Padma Shree. India and South Africa may have lost out to Australia in the race to host the ICC's proposed Super Series.
