    British government revamps the 'Beeb'

    Following a major overhaul late last year in terms of the BBC's operations, the UK government has decided to constitute a trust and executive board which would be responsible for the BBC's functioning, replacing the existing set of governors. The BBC obviously has little choice but to accept that its own reforms had not worked.
