UN Security Council reform - What is the bloody point? The former US ambassador to India, Robert Blackwill, has expressed reservations on whether any expansion of the UNSC will ever take place, and India being part of the new UNSC. He felt that a larger UN Security Council was unlikely to be of any functional use since it would never ever be able to take decisions. He also wondered about the sale of F-16s to Pakistan. Thank you, Bob. It has always been obvious that the US is not interested in expanding the Security Council. He has just confirmed it. The feasibility of the UN reforms has been in doubt for a while. So dont expect any progress.
