Over the last week or two, there've been a number of incidents involving peeping toms, hidden cameras, camera mobile phones etc.

A sex act involving two school students was captured through mobile phones and promptly sold online.

Kareena Kapoor and her boyfriend Shahid Kapur were allegedly caught on camera kissing at a restuarant.

A video allegedly showing Tamil actress Trisha bathing is now floating around on the internet.

In all these cases, it is quite safe to assume that a cellphone which could double up as a digital camera was used. It'd be impossible for dealers or manufacturers to ensure that only adults buy these phones. Besides, who says adults are responsible people? Should manufacturing of these phones be stopped altogether? Perhaps. Then again, why should the rest of the world be deprived of a swanky latest technology phone because of a few idiots? Will issuing a list of guidelines to users suffice?
