According to a mandatory financial disclosure for presidential candidates, John Kerry & his wife have substantial investments in a lot of venture capital firms targeting health-care startups, information technology and communications. Now John Kerry has been critical of the Bush administration's attitude on outsourcing of what he calls American jobs. Does he keep tab on many of the companies floated by the VC firms he has invested in handle and have a clue about where their customer care or tech support is handled? Will he offload his (or his wife's) investments in those firms if he find out that the support is handled in India, Vietnam, Phillipines etc.? Labels: outsourcing
