    Politics

Even as China irresponsibly helps Pakistan build a nuclear reactor, in spite of Dr. AQ Khan's (and obviously the higher echelons of Pakistan's military & government [saying the two terms together is a tautology for sure!]) adventures, I wonder why Pakistan chose Chashma, which is in an earthquake prone region. There could be a real disaster, from a strategic point of view as well as a humanitarian point of view, if the region did have a reasonably big earthquake!

    Business & Technology

CNET News.com has a special series on various dimensions of the off-shoring issue.

Even as Reliance Infocomm contributed a loss of Rs. 390 crores to Reliance Industries, it announced the first few steps it would be taking towards kick-starting its broadband operations throughout India.

So what should Sergei Brin and Larry Page do with all their money?

Read this in a mailing list:
"Visitors are informed that in the United Kingdom traffic drives on the left-hand side of the road. In the interests of safety, you are advised to practise this in your country of origin for a week or two before driving in the UK."

Scott Adams, in his own satirical way, about how call-centres are outsourced.
