    Cricket

Yesterday was a sad day for cricket. David Hookes, former Australian batsman and currently Victoria coach as well as high-profile commentator, died of head injuries after being assaulted by a Melbourne pub bouncer. Here are some of the reactions from the cricketing world.

Zdravco Micevic, the chap who assaulted Hookes (eventually killing him), is currently out on bail. I think he really should get the maximum punishment possible under Australian law, both for what he did to Hookes as well as the torture we suffer while trying to pronounce his name.

    Link of the day

Well it isn't really a link, but this really had me laughing.
